Play will not host this build

Google Play carries KURAL Family. Kids Full (com.kural.kids.full) is the child build Play will not host, so it is offered here.

Installing it still goes through unknown sources and Play Protect. There is no bypass. If Google offers Install anyway, use it and leave Play Protect on. If that button is missing, pause scanning in the Play Store for the install, then turn it back on.

  1. Step 1

    Download Kids Full on the child phone

    On the child's Android, tap Install Kids Full at the top of this page. When Chrome finishes, tap Open.

  2. Step 2

    Allow this download source

    Android may warn about apps from unknown sources. That is the browser or Files app, not a request to turn off Play Protect. Tap Settings and allow installs from Chrome or Files — whichever downloaded the APK.

    If you use Google Family Link

    You must also allow this on the parent phone. Open Family Link, select the child, then Signed-in devices → the child device → turn on Apps from unknown sources. Leave Developer options and Add/remove users off.

    If that screen looks different, open g.co/yourfamily, pick the child, and use the same Signed-in devices controls.

    Then use the back button and continue the install.

  3. Step 3

    If Play Protect warns

    Google may say the app is blocked or harmful. Sideloaded family apps with extra device permissions often get that sheet. What you tap next depends on the phone.

    If you see Install anyway

    Use it and leave Play Protect on.

    If that button is missing

    Pause Play Protect in the Play Store, install Kids Full, then turn scanning back on.

    1. Step 1. Open the Play Store app on the child phone — not Chrome, not phone Settings.
    2. Step 2. Tap the profile picture in the top right.
    3. Step 3. Tap Play Protect.
    4. Step 4. If you see a switch at the top, turn Play Protect off. If not, tap the gear → turn off Scan apps with Play Protect.
    5. Step 5. Confirm when Google warns you. This is only for this install.
    6. Step 6. Go back to Chrome or Files and install Kids Full again.
    7. Step 7. When Kids Full is installed, return to Play Protect and turn scanning back on.

    Samsung: if you see Unknown app blocked, Settings → Security and privacy → Auto Blocker off for this install, then back on.

  4. Step 4

    Open Kids Full and pair with Family

    Find KURAL Kids on the home screen or app drawer. On your parent phone, open KURAL Family, create a family link code, and enter it in Kids. Finish protection setup when Kids asks (usage access, overlay, and policies).

    Open KURAL Family on Play

Turn Play Protect back on

Prefer More details → Install anyway when the phone offers it. Pause scanning in the Play Store only when that button is missing. After Kids Full is installed, Play Protect should be on again.
